What will we do at the event?
“All people from that country are…” We’ve all heard phrases like that before.
Let’s talk about why stereotypes appear and how they affect the world around us.
📌 At the club, we will:
- discuss the terms 'stereotype' and 'prejudice';
- discuss different types of stereotypes and their impact on our lives;
- talk about stereotypes connected with different nationalities;
- brainstorm some ways to overcome stereotypes.

Maryna is a certified English teacher and trainer (CELTA, TESOL, CAE) with over 10 years of experience.
She’s known for her energetic, engaging style and ability to make everyone feel at ease while speaking. Maryna focuses on real communication and always encourages students to speak up, try, and not be afraid of mistakes. She’s worked with all kinds of learners — from individual students to big-name companies.
Oh, and she speaks Spanish too — so she gets what it’s like to learn a new language from scratch!
