What will we do at the event?
Have you ever worked with someone from another country and thought: “Why do they do it like THAT?” 😅 Different approaches to feedback, deadlines and communication can turn ordinary workplace situations into unexpected cultural discoveries.
📌At the club, we will:
- explore how different work cultures can shape communication and teamwork;
- discuss situations where the same words or behaviour can be interpreted differently by international colleagues;
- share real experiences of misunderstandings or surprises when working with people from other countries;
- compare approaches to feedback, disagreement, hierarchy and deadlines across different work cultures.

Who will lead the club?
Wesley is a native English speaker with over 7 years of teaching experience.
His speaking clubs are lively and welcoming, giving everyone the chance to practice English confidently. Wesley is learning Ukrainian himself, so he knows firsthand what it’s like to tackle a new language and can share tips that help students start speaking more naturally and comfortably.
He loves exploring new cultures, and bringing his experiences into conversations. Learning with him is not just language practice - it’s a fun language adventure!
